Francine Austin
|
This is a spray-flowered English Rose; the result of crossing an old Noisette Rose with an English Rose. It holds its small, pure white, pompon-like flowers on wiry stems in airy sprays, providing a magnificent effect throughout the flowering season. It has pale green leaves with long, narrow, widely-spaced leaflets. If only lightly pruned, it will form a large shrub. Planted close to a wall, it can be encouraged to make a very good short climber.
Sweetly scented with a mixture of Old Rose and Musk.

An excellent variety with flowers of a lovely pure apricot - darker in the middle, paler towards the edges; a color that blends well with other shades; especially dark reds and purples. The blooms are shallowly cupped at first, slowly opening to form a perfect rosette with the outer petals reflexed.
In every way, an excellent garden plant.
Delicious, warm and sensuous fragrance.
May benefit from summer pruning in warmer areas |

Graham Thomas Climbing
|
Probably the best known of all the English Roses and one of the most popular roses in the world. ‘Graham Thomas’ has been voted the World’s Favourite Rose by the World Federation of Rose Societies (WFRS) which represents over 100,000 rose lovers in 41 member countries. The award was announced at the 2009 World Rose Convention in Vancouver, when the rose was inducted into the society’s ‘Rose Hall of Fame’.
Medium-sized, cup-shaped flowers of an unusually rich and pure yellow that is hard to match in any other roses. A vigorous, upright variety that makes a particularly good climber, both in beauty and performance.
The fragrance is fresh tea rose with a cool violet character. It was awarded the Henry Edland medal for fragrance in 2000.
Ideal when grown on a wall where it will repeat flower in several flushes.

Hyde Hall, Hedging
|
Hyde Hall is a particularly tough, reliable and healthy rose which can be used to create a very attractive and floriferous boundary hedge. As a response to requests from our customers, we have introduced a special grade of Hyde Hall, which is specifically designed for use as hedging. Plant 18" to 3 feet apart.
Hyde Hall is unusual in that it is a very large shrub, which also has the ability to flower with exceptional continuity from late spring into autumn. This makes it an ideal choice for the rose-lover who wants to create a beautiful, prickly barrier. In ideal conditions and given good feeding and watering, it can achieve some 7 to 8 ft in height, although it can be pruned back to create a more compact hedge if required. It is exceptionally disease-resistant.
The medium pink rosette-shaped blooms are produced in sprays. Although the fragrance is relatively light, it is delightfully warm and fruity. Hyde Hall's foliage is fine and pointed, rather similar to that of Rosa canina.
Please note this grade of Hyde Hall is not recommended for use in borders. |

|
Iceberg Climbing
|
A climbing sport of one of the world’s best known roses. Climbing sports of Floribundas are generally few and far between and not very successful - this is the exception that proves the rule. It has the same extremely reliable characteristics as the bush, being very floriferous throughout the flowering season and growing vigorously. The double flowers are pure white, although they are sometimes tinged with pink later in the season. There is a mild honey fragrance. The stems are not too stiff and can easily be trained over an arch or pergola. A very good Climbing Rose. Quick growing. 12ft. |

James Galway Climbing
|
James Galway can be trained as a robust climber which is notable for the unusual neatness of the flowers. These are warm pink in the centre, paling gradually towards the edges. They are packed with petals which seem to be perfectly placed, forming beautiful, domed flowers. There is a delicious Old Rose fragrance.
The strong, stems are almost thornless, which makes them easy to fan out to the sides to create plentiful new flowering growth. It is ideal for a wall or rose pillar and makes a good choice for an arch.
James Galway is very free from disease, flowers freely and repeats well. It may also be grown as a tall, slightly arching shrub rose.
Up to 8ft. |
