Mary Rose, Standard
|
One of the most widely grown English Roses and it is not difficult to see why. It forms a good bushy head, that is particularly winter-hardy and blooms with unusual regularity throughout the summer.
The flowers are of attractive, loose-petalled formation and of strong rose pink coloring. A first class garden shrub that mixes well with other plants.
The delicious fragrance is of Old Rose character, with a hint of honey and almond blossom.
It was named after Henry VIII’s flagship when it was recovered from the Solent after more than four hundred years.
US Tree Roses are budded at 3 feet. |

Paul's Himalayan Musk
|
One of the best and most beautiful of the ramblers with long, trailing growth reaching up to 30ft. It bears dainty, sprays of pretty little blush-pink rosettes, each held on a thin stem. Once flowering, but produces blooms in abundance, making a magnificent display.
This rose is ideal for growing into a tree, for pergolas, or for covering buildings. Despite its vigour, Paul's Himalayan Musk has a grace which endears it to gardeners. There is a wonderful, haunting fragrance. |

A sport of Mary Rose, to which it is identical except that the flowers are of a softer shade of pink. We think that this gives it an added charm. It is free-flowering, repeats well and has nice bushy, twiggy growth.
The fragrance is of a light Old Rose character, with a hint of honey and almond.
