Vlaams schaap
The Vlaams schaap originated in Belgium during the late middle ages. It is sometimes confused with the Belgium Milk Sheep.
After the Second World War all native milk sheep were amalgamated to the Belgian milk sheep and the Flemish sheep almost entirely disappeared. In the Netherlands, the Flemish sheep was used in the development of the Swifter. They are a large breed, milky and fertile. They can easily raise three lambs. Their white wool is long and curly at the ends.
