Mesabi
A midseason introduction from the University of Minnesota-USDA Cooperative Breeding program.
Mesabi produces high yields of large berries, scarlet-red color with excellent flavor. Berries are smooth and shiny and hold their size well. Mesabi shows good winter hardiness. Mesabi is highly resistant to red stele and also has good resistance to leaf diseases. A good choice for northern locations, especially in the northern Midwest. Suited for organic growing, low spray.
