Very large and uniform, very attractive, long conical shape, good consistency, bright red in colour. In both out of season production and in peat bag cultivation all fruit characteristics are excellent.

Plant Characteristics
Very vigorous, very resistant to winter frost.

Disease Resistance
Very resistant to most common root diseases, tolerant to powdery mildew (Oidium fragariae) and Xanthomonas fragariae, quite susceptible to Colletotrichum acutatum.

Marketing Suitability
Roxana is a very important variety in Italy for spring and autumn cultivation, in both tunnel and open field production. Excellent in peat bag cultivation thanks to its high productivity, producing large, good quality fruit until December.

Use of the Variety
Easy to pick, very attractive fruit, high productivity, large fruit size and good commercial fruit characteristics. Suitable for the continental climate.
