Fairfield
Fairfield[Hollingsworth, 1998]. Herbaceous, Red, Single Blooms. It is an Early Midseason bloomer. Cupped petals are ruby red, Small stamen boss is light yellow. Flowers are set close to the bush, a large terminal flower and 3-4 side buds, giving a long flowering season. Very robust, stoutly erect, prominent in the garden. Shoots emerge purple, Heavy leaflets are dark green at maturity. Much pollen, prolific seeder. Sibling of Color Magnet.
