Cytherea
Cytherea[Saunders, 1953]. Herbaceous, Pink, Semi-Double Blooms. It is an Early Midseason bloomer. Many rich, deep pink, strongly cupped petals are long, forming an almost closed ball, wider open at higher temperatures. Medium-low hieght, flowers close to the bush. Spendid specimen in the landscape, a winner on the show table, excellent pollen parent for doubles. Cytherea blooms 2 days after Red Charm. Cytherea was awarded the APS Gold Medal Award for 1980 .
