Carina[Saunders, 1944]. Herbaceous, Red, Semi-Double Blooms. It is an Early Midseason bloomer. Many near scarlet petals cupped around the small yellow center, makes a large globe. Medium tall, vigorous, prolific. Presumed to be triploid but has useable fertility. Carina is in bloom at the same time as Red Charm.
